Bearing/Distance Calculation (BDIST)
Overview

The purpose of this program is to compute the latitude and longitude of an endpoint given the beginning point coordinates and a bearing and distance between the two points. The program also computes the true bearings and the great circle distance given the coordinates of the two endpoints. Locations and distances are calculated using the WGS-84 ellipsoid. The user can enter the latitude and longitude and bearing in degrees, minutes, and seconds or in decimal degrees. The user can select the method of entering data from the menu.
